Walk with a Doc (WWAD) was started in Columbus, Ohio in April of 2005 by Dr. David Sabgir and has now expanded throughout the world. With an aim to make hope and health accessible to all, WWAD doctor-led walking groups are a safe, fun, and FREE place to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new friends.
For information about the Nevada AAP Walk with a Doc in Reno, visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/walkwithadocreno.
For the Las Vegas/Henderson community, the Nevada AAP leads free, kid-friendly Walk with a Doc events the second Sunday of every month. We meet October - May at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, but we move June - September to Mount Charleston to avoid the heat in the Las Vegas Valley. Scroll down for a current event flyer as well as to read past post-walk informational newsletters.
